For more than 30 years, David and Leann Tremul have built their reputation on quality craftsmanship, personalised service and lasting client relationships. As a family-owned and award-winning building company, Tremul Constructions creates custom homes, renovations and architectural residences that are thoughtfully designed and built to stand the test of time.
A building journey spanning more than 30 years
David completed his carpentry apprenticeship in Geelong in 1989 before spending four years working and travelling throughout the United Kingdom. After settling on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, he completed his building qualifications and founded Tremul Constructions in 1999.
Over the following 17 years, David built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality custom homes throughout the Sunshine Coast, developing extensive experience across a wide variety of residential building projects.
In 2010, David and Leann made the decision to return to Geelong with their four children to be closer to family. Since then, Tremul Constructions has continued to deliver custom homes, renovations and architectural building projects throughout Torquay, Geelong, the Surf Coast and Bellarine Peninsula.
Today, David brings more than 30 years of residential building experience to every project and is an accredited GreenSmart Professional, with a genuine passion for sustainable design and building practices.
A boutique approach to building
As a boutique builder, we intentionally limit the number of projects we undertake each year.
This allows us to maintain exceptional quality standards while ensuring every client receives the attention, communication and service they deserve. From the initial consultation through to handover, you’ll work directly with David and Leann throughout the entire process.
We understand that building or renovating a home is both a significant financial and emotional investment. Our goal is to make the experience as positive, transparent and stress-free as possible.
Quality through trusted relationships
Our team consists of qualified and highly skilled carpenters supported by long-standing local subcontractors who have been carefully selected for their craftsmanship, reliability and attention to detail. Many of these relationships have been built over many years.
By working with trusted local trades and suppliers, we are able to maintain the quality, consistency and finish that Tremul Constructions has become known for.
A family business built on relationships
Leann joined Tremul Constructions more than 20 years ago after beginning her career as a radiographer. She met David while travelling in London and has played an integral role in the business ever since.
With a Certificate IV in Building and Construction, Leann manages contracts, administration, permits and client communication, helping ensure every project runs smoothly from the initial enquiry through to handover.
Together, David and Leann have built a business centred on honesty, communication and personalised service, creating an experience where clients always know who they are working with.

Supporting local trades, suppliers and businesses is an important part of how we operate. We also support local apprentices, provide work experience opportunities and contribute to a range of community organisations and charitable initiatives throughout the region.
